Butterflies & Angel Wings

Several of our designs have Angel Wings, a product developed by Cheery Lynn Designs. Many crafters wish to have a color showing through the face of the die cut. Many designs are symmetrical meaning that one side matched the other.

To save costs on a full sized die a half-sized die with an open end allows crafters to fold craft paper in half and cut the shape of its matching die. An alternative method allows crafters to cut one half and then flip the craft paper to do a second cut. The second cut will match the full sized die or be used to place a silhouette of the die cut anywhere on a card or scrapbook page. This method offer a 3-D image of the die cut. A second use for Angel Wings is to die cut a shape and then use embossing pads to emboss the die design. Inks can be applied to our unique coating to transfer color when embossing. The rubber pads do not allow a die to cut through the paper.

See Our August 2012 release of mini-butterflies (start at 9:55 minutes). A larger scrapbook example is seen in our eBosser video. Enjoy!
